Rooms are blocked at the Westin Governor Morris at a special group rate of $129 per night.  This special rate will expire one month prior to our reunion (you will still be able to book a room if space is available, just not at the discounted rate).

What's so great about the Governor Morris Hotel?  Robin had a VIP tour and has the following report-out:

  • They have put $30Million into their renovations and let’s just say – it’s GEORGOUS!

  • DRUNK BUS.  If anyone wants to party uptown, they have a shuttle which will drive you to the bar/restaurant AND pick you up. 24/7.  Enough said.

  • They have a pool –which will be open by time our event comes around – meaning we could use it for Saturday afternoon hang out for those who don’t want to venture around

  • They have a two story work out room equipped with personal televisions on each cardio piece

  • They have a restaurant and bar – very chic, urban yuppie type

  • 24/7 room service

  • Hospitality suites  featuring a huge screen TV/lounge area for reunion check-in

  • The rooms rock.  The meeting planner showed me all 5 types they have.  They either have very few or no connecting rooms, but some of the “non standard” have plenty of room for play pens or roll in’s – the suites have couches with pull out beds

  • Babysitting services – but I don’t know how many they have on hand – I think those needing the services should book in advance requesting the service.

  • Massage room – 2 rooms, but spouses might want to “get away” from the madness – although pricey- in my opinion – it’s a feature.
  • Ok, if anyone wanted to:  There’s a 5 mile jogging route mapped out, printed in small form for those enthusiasts, available at the front desk.
  • Train is incredibly close, and if anyone wanted to go to NYC for the day, the drunk bus will take you to the station.
  • Numerous options for day visits, museums, uptown shopping, drinking, etc.
